We are beyond excited to share with you some of the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G photos that Therese Marie took at our photo shoot!
This is our company’s second year partnering with Therese Marie Photography. Friends of our staffers recommended Therese Marie to us, and we’re so glad they did! She takes their family photos every year, and when we saw their pictures, we were in awe! We just had to ask her to take our corporate AND family photos!
Therese Marie is a preferred photographer based in Corona, California. She specializes in children, families, seniors, and beauty and fashion models. Therese is available for sessions in Corona, Riverside County, Orange County, the Inland Empire, Los Angeles County, and parts of San Diego.

Now, on to the photos!
Last Sunday, we had our photo shoot at the Corona Heritage Park & Museum in Corona, California. As a staffer, helping out at photo shoots is one of the best parts of my job because it’s one of the rare times I get to work alongside our fantastic off-site staffers, which include my sister .
We teamed up again with Therese Marie Photography for some new images! Therese Marie is a wonderful, gifted, and talented photographer who shot last year’s photo shoot, and we’re thrilled to have her back! Beautiful model S also returned. This year, we had the pleasure of working with three new faces – effervescent R, an adorable baby girl, and huggable T.
Below are some shots that we took throughout the day.
T is sweetheart defined. We're so excited to have him!

Our baby model is so precious! We love her!

R is absolutely stunning in our Alfred Angelo 'Princess Jasmine' dress! She was so much fun to work with! Behind-the-scenes, she and T had a blast dancing to ‘What Does the Fox Say?’

“Are we there yet?” My son and daughter were getting squirmy and impatient as we inched our way up the 101 N. freeway several weeks ago. Stuck in traffic was not my idea of fun, to say the least. The drive, which should have taken only 90 minutes, ended up being 3hours long. My kids are usually pretty good about road trips, but they also have their limits! I admit to joining in on their whining and lamenting. With both my daughter and I prone to motion sickness, bumper to bumper traffic can be the most horrible feeling in the world. Fortunately, everything ended well and we reached our destination, The Hilton Hotel in Ventura California.
Our lovely hotel was situated right next to Oxnard Beach. It was the perfect location for a quiet get away without all the hustle and bustle of a crowded beach town. Each suite had a lovely view of the beach or pool. After admiring our hotel room for a brief second my kids Nicolas and Aria were already standing by the door, ready to sprint to the beach for some sun and relaxation! And so it was, our summer vacation started with two enthusiastic kids in tow.
The weather was partly cloudy, but it was perfect for me. Just enough sun and cloud to give me that equal balance of warmth and shade. Settling into my beach chair with my hat and sunglasses gave me a feeling of relaxation I hadn’t experienced in some time, and I was reveling in it. However, it took me some time to adjust to being in a swimsuit. My farmer tan and stretch marks from the two pregnancies made me very self-conscious. It didn’t help when Aria patted my belly and asked, “Are you having another baby?” At that moment I was about to put my shirt back on, but my husband said, “You still look good to me. Whatever you’re comfortable with I’m good with that.” Made me love my hubby even more! Complete relaxation overcame me 20 minutes later and the joyful screams of my kids (instead of their occasional whining and crying) were muffled by the sound of crashing waves, a sound I wish I could hear more frequently. Eventually I began to doze off, a welcome respite for my mind and soul.
But all good things must come to an end sooner or later. Nicolas and Aria jolted me out of my lovely sleep by slapping me with wet sand. They begged me to play with them so their daddy could get a break. The rest of the afternoon was filled with sounds of laughter and splashing, running and chasing the waves, burying each other in the sand, meeting other kids and finally watching the sun setting. It was a nice little vacation for us. We love our summer breaks! (Just not about me wearing a swimsuit).
It’s no secret that girls love a good fairy tale. Even as we get older, the appeal of being married happily ever after to Prince Charming never fades. When England’s Kate Middleton, a commoner, married William, a prince, she “took one for the team” – for “common” women everywhere who never lost hope of a modern-day fairy tale.
Royal Wedding - Pink Princess
So naturally, when news broke that Kate was expecting, Pink Princess joined the rest of the world in excitement! This is the country that brought us great kings, queens, princes and princesses, Romeo + Juliet, Jane Austen, and the Spice Girls, and now it brings us a princeling!
Pregnant Kate - Pink Princess
George Alexander Louis Mountbatten-Windsor was born on July 22nd, 2013 at 4:24 PM London time (he’s one week old today!). At birth he weighed a healthy 8 pounds and 6 ounces. While there’s no indication of his height at birth, we predict that he will be one TALL king, as mom and dad are 5’10″ and 6’3″ respectively!
Prince George of Cambridge - Pink Princess
His birth fills the long-awaited role of grandchild to the late Princess Diana. For England and for the rest of the Anglo-speaking world, it’s history being made and being reminded of in the present. For mom and dad, it’s their first baby. To this we say congrats!

The 4th of July is one of our favorite holidays. With a late-setting sun and balmy evening temperatures, Independence Day is the perfect holiday for families to take the celebration outside.
Some of our favorite outside activities for the 4th:
Picnicking in the park,
Parading down the avenue,
And, of course, taking in a fireworks show.
While we celebrate our freedom, we will also remember to honor those who protect it.
Happy a happy and safe 4th of July!
One day I was cleaning out my kitchen drawers and I came across some empty glass jars that I had salvaged awhile back. They were cute jars that once contained jams, spices and liquid bath cleanser. If you know me well, I have a tendency to save things that I can use for my crafts, recreating objects for other purposes.
The key to making these crafts happen is finding the time to do it! So a couple of days ago, I was determined to fulfill my vision and give two of the six jars a makeover.
The project I had in mind for my glass jars was to etch a design of some sort onto the glass surface. A few months ago I visited a local crafts store and bought a glass etching kit. The directions for the kit were very easy to follow. Simply have the surface of the glass jar cleaned and dried. Next, apply the adhesive stencil design of your choice onto the glass.
Then, apply a thick even coat of etching cream onto the design. Be sure to wear protective gloves when using etching cream.
Wait about 15 minutes and rinse off the cream under running water. Once the cream has been completely rinsed off, gently remove the stencil and wash it thoroughly with soap and water.
I now have two jars with a beautiful design on them. They will make great personal gifts for friends and family. The jars can be filled with little edible treats or bath salts. Or, it can be used as a little flower vase to enhance a space in the home or office.
I think I’m going to keep both of them for myself.
It’s summer! It’s finally summer! Time to enjoy childhood without all the pressures of school. Time to spend hours and hours playing in the water…the backyard pool, the kiddie pool, the local water park, the beach, the slip and slide, even the lawn hose. It’s cool, it’s refreshing, it’s summer.
If you still need swimwear for your daughter, now is the perfect time to find something you both will love. Pink Princess headquarters just stocked up on a great selection of the latest styles in girls’ swimwear. From traditional to trendy, there is sure to be something that will win over even the choosiest water baby.
Here is a quick peek:
Isobella & Chloe Coral 1PC Halter Swimsuit w/ Ruffles
Hello Kitty Neon Pink Cross Back 1PC Swimsuit
Paul Frank Asymmetrical Tricolor Strap 2PC Swimsuit
PLUS for the next two weeks, all swimwear will be 15% off.
As always, enjoy free shipping on any order over $29.99. Happy summer!
Another school year has come and gone, and summer is upon us. As the saying goes, time flies! I’m very thankful that my family and I survived this past school year unscathed. We had drama and a few bumps along the way, but the things we learned from those situations made us stronger and wiser, and hopefully will prepare us for the things to come when my daughter Aria starts kindergarten and my son Nicolas enters second grade. However, as my kids stand here today with more confidence in their abilities to learn and perform, it is without a doubt that their teachers were a huge contributing factor in their development. I am very thankful for their love, sacrifice and dedication to my children, and to every child that was under their instruction and guidance. The thoughts and feelings of appreciation and gratitude are expressed in the following poem I wrote:
We love our teachers, yes we do
They are awesome and that is true
The lives they change, showing the way
For our little ones to be outstanding one day
We as parents know the heavy weight
Of guiding children in the narrow and straight
We willingly accept the help of loving teachers
Whose firm strong hands can support young curious fingers
With those firm hands they open doors
For hungry minds and eyes to explore
Teaching isn’t confined to only books and papers
Or test scores and complicated numbers
Rather, instilling a love for learning, a passion to succeed
Building confidence is what children need
Teachers can stoke the flame and inspire young lives
To aim for the stars, to hope and strive
Teachers are awesome and they are great
That is why we should celebrate!
A gift to Mrs. T, Nicolas' teacher
I am thankful to Mrs. T, Ms. S and Ms. G for loving on my kids and teaching them the tools to be a life long learner and to strive for what is good and noble. May Aria and Nicolas reflect the qualities you have instilled in their lives.
