Happy Birthday to 2 year staff member Selbin! To celebrate, we fed ourselves a Tres Leches cake from La Mascota Bakery. It was rich and delicious, in case you were wondering!

Now that Easter is right around corner, mothers are calling to order that perfect Easter dress for their little one. Why not take a different road this year and try something new? Instead of going for the “regular” Easter dress this year, why not try a pettiskirt? Or even put one in their Easter basket. They’re fun and easy to play around in for girls ages 2-6. You don’t have to worry about ironing because the more crinkled it gets, the better and fuller it looks. You can keep it simple with a solid color like our Pink Toddler Tutu. Or get a little bit more colorful and try our Toddler Rainbow Tutu.
If you really want your princess to stand out in the crowd, then I would highly suggest getting the Toddler Fuchsia Animal Print Tutu which also has matching Toddler Zebra Leotard that is sold separately in case you want to wear it with a different pettiskirt.
If you already have a pettiskirt of your own, then why not buy a leotard to go with it. We have a black and pink Cap Sleeve Cotton Leotard. Or for those hot summer days, she can go sleeveless with a Cotton Tank Leotard that also comes in black and pink.
I personally think regardless what color you get, your little princess is sure to be the center of attention in one of the pettiskirts. They look adorable twirling in ballet class, or just running around in the park with one on.
I went around the office and downtown today, taking random shots of those who decided to partake in today’s holiday tradition of wearing green. It’s nice to see everyone, including whole families, striding along in their coolest green shirt. However, believe it or not, there’s more to this Irish holiday than fashion and a pint of Gunniess. Pink Princess Contributes to the Ocean Institute
Date: Friday March 12, 2010Posted in: Flower Girl Dresses, News & Events
A few months ago, Pink Princess had the opportunity to contribute a total of 28 party style dresses to the “8th Annual Jazz in January” fund raising event, which included a special performance by Jonathan Butler and Rick Braun. This event is held annually with all the proceedings benefiting the Ocean Institute’s educational programs. This program is created to increase awareness and understanding of the ocean environment to over 100,000 students every year through science, maritime, and outdoor education.
Here are thank you letters from a couple of young children who had the opportunity to experience and benefit from this enriching program…
Letter number 1 reads:
“Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lacy,
Thank you so much for allowing me to visit the Ocean Institute at Dana Point. It was the first time many of us had seen the Pacific Ocean. We had so much fun looking at Shark’s teeth, and touching starfish and fish. We loved the Octopus and Big Al. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.
Love, Jordy”

Letter number 2 reads:
“Dear Ocean Institute,
Thank you so much for this opportunity. I loved learning about the Moon Jellies Life Cycle. I liked looking at the plankton on the Shore Lab. Out on the R/V sea Explorer I saw California Sea Lions, I also got to hear different dolphin and whale sounds. I learned all about the Moon Jellies Life Cycle I also learned how big and small they could be. This field trip inspired me to learn more about marine biology so I will do a lot better in school. Thanks again I loved the field trip and can’t wait to go back I had the time of my life!
Sincerely, Alyssa Macias”

Pink Princess has put together a special collection of ideal spring and Easter styles for infant and toddler boys. This section was created to make your browsing experience easier when on the hunt for the best in boys and girls Easter outfits.
Pink Princess carries an adorable “Boys Easter Outfits” collection! From navy or light blue, khaki, brown, sage, ivory, and even a sailor shorts set or romper; ideal for not only Easter, but also Summer and Spring seasons as well.
Don’t forget that Easter is just around the corner. This year, it falls during early April, on the 4th to be exact. I know of several parents still struggling to find time in their busy schedule to go all out to shop for the full Easter attire. That’s why I wanted to make sure to make this task easier than ever. With free shipping and free returns, there’s no risk of not finding the right color, right size, or simply what the little one wants. There’s so many new styles we just got in for 2010, and we’re excited to see them on all the young boys and girls.
I just put our new Easter dress banner on the home page:
This is absolutely posh! I’m loving fuchsia more and more.
